I meant to do this for a long time and I finally got to it. These are the three witches of Oz, as I pictured them while reading the book -yes, there is a book also... you don't even know the musical!? Well thats your problem there

So this is what Elphie saw at the end, like a vision of what should have been. Although its a small detail on the book, to me, it was the most powerful thing, and in fact inspired me deeply

From left to right:

Nessarose: A very pious and religious character. She was born without arms. Despite her condition, she is a dainty and beautiful girl. During her rule of Munchkinland, is dubbed "The Wicked Witch of the East", for her cruel ways and use of sorcery to control her subjects.

Elphaba: Born with green skin and apparently allergic to water. Portrayed as an aspiring revolutionary and a passionate supporter of Animal rights. Elphaba became known as "The Wicked Witch of the West" after she plunged into madness.

Glinda: Descended from the noble clan of the Arduennas of the Upland. Though originally snobbish and superficial, she is also intelligent enough to be accepted to Shiz University. She is revered as a powerful sorceress, and ultimately become the "Good Witch of the North".
